Did You Know? 🌿🏛️🏝️
Aegina, one of the Saronic Gulf’s most charming islands, was once the first capital of modern Greece (1827–1829) before Athens took its place. Known for its pistachios, Aegina produces some of the finest in the world, earning a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status.
The island is also home to the Temple of Aphaia, a stunning ancient sanctuary that, along with the Parthenon in Athens and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, forms a perfect isosceles triangle—sometimes called the "Sacred Triangle of Greece."
Whether you're exploring its rich history, savoring local delicacies, or relaxing by the sea, Aegina offers a perfect blend of culture and tranquility. 🌊✨
